IT Infrastructure Operation Manager

Viable is looking for an IT infrastructure operation manager to oversee Viable's network architecture, communication protocols and communication devices for the multi-site WAN. The ideal candidate will combine excellent network management, troubleshooting and communication skills to expedite problem resolution.


* Manage all communication circuits including Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), T1/DS1, T3/DS3, and OC3 connections.
* Design new technical solutions to meet the requirements of Viable's business goals.
* Monitor the work of, and provide operational support to, the tech support staff at each site in managing Voice and Video over Internet Protocol (VoIP), network hubs, switches and routers.
* Monitor underlying communications protocols, support network hardware and assist in training staff when necessary.
* Ability to perform continual discovery performance needs and goals of WAN/LAN users, design solutions and make recommendations for architecture changes and equipment purchases.
* Design, document and implement all infrastructure changes and provide detailed project plans for all work performed on the LAN and WAN components.
* Ensure daily operation and security of all routers, VPN concentrators, switches, VoIP systems, and managed hubs.
* Interact with Viable's clients and users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors to provide maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of hardware installation and network configurations.
* Design, specify, and document LAN and WAN configurations according to user needs, utilizing outside support resources as appropriate.
* Create and maintain all network documentation and architecture diagrams.
* Prepare charts and diagrams to explain network operation and train IT support staff and others in proper use and day-to-day operations.
* Prepare checklists and standard operating processes for LAN help desk personnel interfacing with systems supported by this position.
* Analyze network load, including traffic and utilization trends.
* Prepare periodic (weekly and/or monthly) utilization and network health reports.
* Maintain and operate network management software, network management utilities, and other software to manage, monitor, gather data and provide proactive reporting on the general network health.
* Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
* Gather network requirements for Viable's dynamic and fast-paced environment to help define overall network security strategies and procedures.
* Design and maintain Firewall and VPN infrastructure.
* Deploy network connectivity and hardware on a nationwide scale.
* Work with and/or develop network monitoring and automation tools.
* Provide support in the operation of Viable's growing network infrastructure and troubleshooting service-impacting issues.
* Act as an external-facing point of contact to resolve technical issues and communicate network status.


* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience or training in network communication protocols (such as VoIP) and the use of common Internet and network protocols in various bandwidth environments.
* Minimum 5+ years working with and designing TCP/IP network and LAN and WAN circuits.
* Working experience with VVoIP, WAN technologies, Domain Name Systems, Global Server Load Balancing Technologies, Stateful Inspection Systems, SSL Systems and Technologies and High Availability Protocols.
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (including Layers 4-7, content switching, QoS).
* Experience in UNIX/Linux administration.
* Excellent analytic, written and oral communications skills in English.
* Commitment to team participation, and willingness to develop and maintain positive working relationships with VI Team, managers and other co-workers.
* Willingness to work weekend days and shifts outside of normal business hours.

Position Objective
HELIO is currently seeking full-time or part-time Kiosk Sales Representatives. As a Kiosk Sales Rep, you will provide excellent customer service and product expertise to kiosk guests, focusing on driving sales and ensuring member happiness (per our Total Happiness Guarantee). Using your knowledge of HELIO’s mobile innovation, you will be an expert at selling the HELIO name as well as HELIO’s numerous devices and services.

To be an effective HELIO Retail Kiosk Rep, you will be interested in and knowledgeable about current and emerging technology. You will be energetic and able to communicate with a diverse range of guests, all while remaining calm in a fast paced environment. You will also be able to focus on details while in the kiosk’s busy environment.

Primary Responsibilities
*Help guests determine which product and service best fit their needs
*Create excitement and activity with your outgoing personality, sales skills, and passion for the HELIO products and services
*Educate guests on HELIO’s devices and subscription packages, while guiding them through the selection process
*Maintain awareness of all product features, requirements, services, promotions, and advertisements
*Engage and develop company-sponsored programs and events to promote new guests and referrals
*Conduct guest credit inquiries and add guest account information into our billing system
*Maintain kiosk cleanliness and organization as required by Mall Guidelines and Hospitality Rules
