Senior Network Security Engineer

These positions require regional (DC/MD/VA) travel along with occasional out of region travel (well under 30%). While you will have access to a MD based test lab, you will work out of a home office environment. The client has a mix of Commercial and Federal accounts, so no one requiring an employment visa sponsorship will be considered.

Our Client, a Maryland based network engineering and consulting firm, has an extensive pedigree in the network engineering community. Over 30% of their staff is CCIE certified with some of the earliest certifications in the country! They have had a hand in building some of the largest network infrastructures in the United States. They have extensive experience with:



Network design (from conception through implementation, including large-scale routing protocol upgrades and network migrations
VoIP / Unified Communications design, deployment and troubleshooting
Network Security � Firewalls, Intrusion detection, incident response and escalation, security policy articulation and compliance checking
Network performance evaluation and optimization
Troubleshooting
Infrastructure Project Management
They are seeking to build their expertise by adding several senior level CCIE (or similar level) Engineers with deep experience in one or more of the following:



Unified Communications
Network Security
WAN Routing / Switching

My client seeks the best of the best, both technically and interpersonally. The ideal candidate will have a CCIE or have CCIE level knowledge.



You will have to have domain expertise in one or more of the following:



Routing and Switching
Network Security
Unified Communications
